Twin City Community Church is governed by the following doctrinal statement:

God is a person who has revealed Himself as a Trinity in unity; Father, Son and Holy Spirit-three Persons and yet one God. He is eternal (being without beginning and without end), immutable, sovereign, omniscient, omnipresent, holy, just, loving, truthful and perfect in every way; the Creator, Preserver and Judge of all that exists now and forever. He is personally interested in and active in the affairs of those He created in His image, and has been at work throughout history.

The Bible, including both the Old and New Testaments, is divine revelation, the original autographs of which were verbally inspired by the Holy Spirit. The Bible is trustworthy, true, inerrant, infallible and supremely authoritative in all that it reveals. It is through Scripture that one gains access to the revelation of God.

Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, is the image of the invisible God, which is to say, He Himself is God. He took upon Himself our nature, being conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. In doing so, He was/is true God and true man, existing in one Person and without sin. He died upon the Cross as a representative and substitution sacrifice for the sin of all the world's believers. He arose from the dead in the body in which He was crucified, ascended into heaven in that body glorified, where He is now the interceding High Priest of all believers. He will come again, personally and visibly in glory, to judge the living and the dead, establish His millennial reign and consummate His kingdom in heaven.

Man was created in the image of God and thus was/is morally accountable to God, designed for relationship with God and as an expression of the image of God-the purpose of which is for the Glory of God. Man rebelled against God's reign, fell into sin, experienced spiritual and physical death, and in that sense is lost. Satan exists, in a personal nature, along with evil powers and in the end they will experience everlasting punishment. The result of man's fall is that all human beings are born with a sinful nature that leads them to sin. This is true of all men and except a man be born again by the Holy Spirit he cannot see the kingdom of God. Salvation is the free gift of God, by grace through faith in Christ who Himself bore each believer's sins in His own body at the Cross-believers are justified through Him by His shed blood and are forgiven all their sins. Through the Holy Spirit believers are kept eternally secure. The retribution of the wicked and unbelieving and the reward of the righteous are everlasting and as the reward is conscious so is the retribution.

The Holy Spirit indwells and gives life to believers, enables them to understand Scripture, empowers them for godly living and equips them for the Great Commandments and the Great Commission.

The Church is the elect company of all believers baptized by the Holy Spirit into one body, whose mission is to witness concerning its Head, Jesus Christ, preaching the Gospel among all nations. It will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air upon His return, which is its blessed hope. Jesus Christ instituted the Lord's Supper to commemorate His death till He comes. Water Baptism is a symbol of the believer's union with Christ in His death and His Resurrection as well as with all true believers which constitute the Body of Christ.
